#141: Captain Fabulous
Tingo is very excited about wearing his cool Captain Fabulous sneakers -- the same ones worn by his favorite superhero! Although Tingo thinks the sneakers will make him run fast, he loses two races to Niki. Tingo is sure the sneakers must be broken. However, when Captain Fabulous himself arrives to pick them up, he explains that the shoes don't make the runner go fast, the runner makes the shoes go fast. Hungry from all the exercise, Tingo and Niki race to the refrigerator -- and Tingo finally wins!#142: Tingo the Basketball Coach
Tingo thinks he knows everything there is to know about basketball -- after all, he's been reading a book about it! He asks Niki if he can be her coach, and she agrees. After a tiring (and funny!) warm-up routine, Tingo and Niki play a game...and Niki wins! Niki and Tingo host a television show called “What's Your Favorite Sport?” Tingo has trouble deciding which sport is his favorite -- he likes so many of them! Niki and Tingo watch and discuss baseball, soccer, basketball and karate, but Tingo just can't make up his mind! #144: Tingo at the Bat
Tingo is learning how to swing a baseball bat with a little help from Niki. With Niki pitching, Tingo practices hitting lots of balls in the backyard -- and he is really getting the hang of it! Tingo hits one last ball that goes over the fence...and breaks a neighbor's window. The neighbor -- who happens to be a professional baseball player -- comes by. Instead of being upset, he's impressed! He thinks Tingo is such a good hitter that he could play on his team! #145: Tingo's Stuck
Niki and Tingo are getting ready to go bowling when Tingo panics...his fingers are stuck in the bowling ball! Niki tries every crazy thing she can think of to pry the ball off -- and calm Tingo down! When Tingo is finally free, Niki and Tingo celebrate with a snack -- until Tingo gets his hand stuck in the cookie jar! #146: Mouse Hunt
Niki and her friend Annie want to play a computer game but realize that the mouse -- that is, the mouse for the computer-- is missing. Tingo, misunderstanding the problem, calls his friend Izzy -- a real mouse! -- and asks him to come over. Fortunately, Izzy is well prepared and brings a computer mouse with him so that everyone can play! #147: We All Scream
Niki's little cousin Jenny is very excited to eat her ice cream and then go to the playground with Niki and Tingo. When it starts to rain, however, Jenny is disappointed because she'll have to stay inside. Tingo tries to distract Jenny by putting on a puppet show, but none of his antics can take her mind off the playground. When a powerful visitor drops by and turns the rain to sun, Niki, Tingo and Jenny finish eating their ice cream and sing about all the things they will do at the playground! #148: The Cymbals
Tingo is so excited -- Niki has asked him to play with the band! Preparing to be a rock star, Tingo puts on a ridiculous costume and practices the piano, guitar and drums. As it turns out, Niki actually needs him to play the cymbals -- just one loud crash at the end of a song! Tingo has some trouble with his timing in rehearsal, but at the band's concert, he plays the cymbals perfectly! |
