#117: I'm Hungry
Tingo wakes up in the middle of the night hungry for a snack. He stumbles around the kitchen in the dark, searching for something to eat. Niki is woken up by this noise and decides to go upstairs to her parents' to get a snack for both of them. Niki returns, only to find Tingo asleep on the couch (though the smell of food wakes him up immediately!).#118: Vegetable Soup
Tingo is cooking some spicy vegetable soup. After taking a taste, he is desperate for a drink of water. The plumber informs him that there is no water because of a broken pipe. When Niki comes home, she finds the soup on the stove and takes a taste -- now she's thirsty too! When the pipes are finally fixed, Niki and Tingo gulp down glasses of water...while the plumber adds more pepper to the soup! #119: Where's the Chicken?
Chef Gene is looking for his missing chicken, and Tingo and Niki help him search around the house. They follow a trail of eggs and feathers out to the vegetable garden, where they finally corner the chicken after a hilarious musical chase. While Niki and Tingo worry that the bird will be cooked for dinner, the chicken actually puts on her own chef's hat to make vegetable soup for everyone! #120: Do You Like It?
While Niki's band is experimenting with several different versions of a song, Tingo is making a surprise snack for them in the kitchen. He has all of the ingredients he wants to use, but is not sure what to make. After toying with several possibilities, he decides to make a cake. Although the band members can't agree on which version of the song they like, they all agree that they like Tingo's cake! #121: Make Me a Sandwich
Tingo is trying to make sandwiches for the band, but he keeps eating them instead. Tingo is so hungry that he devours all of the ingredients -- there's no food left! Finally, the doorbell rings. Tingo has ordered pizza for everyone! #122: Niki's Thanksgiving Disaster
Niki is cooking her first Thanksgiving dinner, and it isn't going very well. The turkey is burnt; the potatoes are green...The meal is a disaster when Niki's guests arrive. Niki ushers them into the backyard and asks them to wait while Tingo helps her to start all over again. Thanks to Tingo (and a lot of fast work!), Niki has a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner for her family and friends. #123: A Home Run for Niki
Tingo and Niki are watching a baseball game on television in the living room. When Tingo repeatedly asks Niki to get more food from the kitchen, Niki misses the most exciting moments of the game. When Niki is gone for the final play, she is very disappointed. To make it up to her, Tingo calls Niki's favorite baseball player and asks him to visit. Niki is thrilled to meet her hero and is touched by Tingo's gesture of friendship. #124: Cooking With Jake
Tingo is trying to feed Jake lunch. Unfortunately, Jake refuses to eat every kind of food that Tingo has prepared. Just as Tingo is about to give up, he discovers that his own lunch is missing -- Jake has eaten it and is ready for dessert! Tingo makes another meal for himself while Jake enjoys the chocolate cake that he has been asking for all along. |
